兩者機身等級差了整整兩級（高階 vs 低階）
又有一支算是優秀的 kit 鏡 18-105 VR，
除了高 ISO 及畫素數之外，
D300 雖然是八年前的高階 DX 頂級機皇，
所有機身功能仍然把雖然很新但是低階入門的 D5300 巴假的，
相信我，
除了輕便、可旋轉螢幕之外，
拿過 D300 後不會再去想用 D5300。

況且這種價錢要用來買鏡頭，
除了無法在 D5300上自動對焦的定焦 AF-D 鏡，
以及二手一代 N 18-200 VR 以外，
根本買不到啥好鏡頭。

這是我在兩年前以兩萬元買入的 D300 單機身，
至今仍是主力機（備機是原有的 D80，沒有上全幅的打算）
甚至可以掛 FM2 年代的 Serial E 手動老鏡 50mm F1.8，
用 M A 模式來自動測光拍攝沒圖沒真相
