加駐台機構辦 馬偕台灣情緣展

（中央社記者謝佳珍台北16日電）加拿大駐台北貿易辦事處即日起至明年1月16日舉辦馬偕博士展，透過照片、書籍、影片展出馬偕在台近30年對台灣的奉獻。

加拿大辦事處代表馬凱琳今天在記者會上表示，馬偕博士在19世紀末在台灣完成許多成就，直至今日，馬偕博士仍以其卓越的貢獻活在許多台灣朋友心中，在台灣社會許多角落，馬偕博士帶來的文化聯結和深遠的衝擊仍為大家所稱頌。

根據加拿大辦事處提供資料，馬偕1844年出生在加拿大安大略省牛津郡，1871年6月成為加拿大長老會首位派往海外宣教士，原目的地是中國，但1872年3月9日馬偕抵達淡水河口，從此展開在台灣奉獻傳奇的一生。

「愛在他鄉變故鄉：馬偕博士的台灣情緣」展覽，展出馬偕生平所記錄影像，區分宣教、醫療、原住民、教育、家庭各主題，現場也展出馬偕的蒐藏和相關文獻。1031216
